Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 · Fly Kathmandu → Lukla, trek to Phakding
Early mountain flight to Lukla (2,840 m), then an easy descent along the Dudh Koshi to Phakding.

Day 2 · Phakding → Namche Bazaar
Cross suspension bridges and climb steeply through pine forest to the Sherpa capital, Namche (3,440 m).

Day 3 · Acclimatisation day in Namche
Short hike to the Everest View Hotel for first Everest and Ama Dablam panoramas; rest and hydrate.

Day 4 · Namche → Tengboche
Ridge walking with grand views to Tengboche (3,860 m) and its famous monastery.

Day 5 · Tengboche → Dingboche
Through Pangboche and into the broad Imja valley to Dingboche (4,410 m).

Day 6 · Acclimatisation day in Dingboche
Climb Nangkartshang peak for sweeping views of Makalu and Island Peak, then descend to rest.

Day 7 · Dingboche → Lobuche
Past the Thukla memorials honouring lost climbers to Lobuche (4,940 m).

Day 8 · Lobuche → Gorak Shep → Everest Base Camp
Reach Gorak Shep, then walk the glacial moraine to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). Return to sleep at Gorak Shep.

Day 9 · Kala Patthar sunrise → Pheriche
Pre-dawn climb of Kala Patthar (5,545 m) for the best Everest view, then long descent to Pheriche.

Day 10 · Pheriche → Namche Bazaar
Retrace the trail down through Tengboche back to Namche.

Day 11 · Namche → Lukla
Final trekking day back to Lukla; celebrate with the team in the evening.

Day 12 · Fly Lukla → Kathmandu
Morning flight back to Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.
